→ REQUEST PROPOSALA new mentorship program needed a clear, trustworthy way for members to understand it and take part.
Temple Sholom was preparing a three-month pilot that connects members seeking professional guidance with people ready to share their experience. The site had to explain the programme, collect applications, and set expectations — without becoming a job board, public directory, or automated matching product.
Program, applications, human matching.
| L1 · Explain | Seven content-led routes covering the program, its team, questions and participation terms | Astro · JSON · TypeScript | Clear expectations before applying |
| L2 · Apply | Separate mentor and mentee application flows, with validation, confirmations and email delivery | TypeScript · Nodemailer | Complete, private application handoff |
| L3 · Participate | Responsive Temple Sholom and Etzah navigation, accessible forms and route-specific interaction states | Tailwind · TypeScript | Usable across devices and access needs |
A clear front door to a carefully curated pilot.
Members can learn what Etzah offers, choose whether to apply as a mentor or mentee, and share the information the committee needs to create meaningful matches. The program remains deliberately human: applications support the committee's work rather than replacing it with profiles, accounts, or an algorithm.
