§ SERVICES — SHOPIFY DEVELOPMENT

Shopify & Shopify Plus Development

Not store setup. The plumbing behind it — custom themes, private apps, checkout and subscription flows, and the ERP, marketplace and fulfilment integrations that decide whether an order ever reaches the systems that have to act on it. Building on Shopify since 2017.

§ ON SHOPIFY SINCE 2017
9 years
of Shopify and Shopify Plus builds, not store setups

Custom themes, private apps, two apps published in the Shopify App Store, and stores wired to ERP, marketplaces and fulfilment. Several are still trading years after we handed them over.

§ 01

Who this is for

Merchants whose store has to do more than display products.

You've outgrown the theme Every change is a workaround on a workaround, and the last three were made by a different freelancer.
You're on Shopify Plus, or heading there You're paying for checkout extensibility, custom apps and higher-volume operations. Something should be using them.
The store isn't the problem The ERP, the order management system and the warehouse are. The storefront just shows the damage first.
You sell in more than one place Own store plus marketplaces, with inventory and orders expected to agree with each other.
You need an app, not another subscription The thing your business actually does isn't in the App Store, and the closest match costs more every month.
The store is slow and nobody can say why Theme weight, app load, third-party scripts. The seconds are going somewhere measurable.
§ 02

What we get called about

Almost never the design. Almost always what happens after Add to cart.

App stack bloat A dozen apps doing what two custom ones would, each adding scripts, monthly cost and a support queue.
Orders that never reach finance Shopify says the order shipped, the ERP disagrees, and someone reconciles it by hand every Monday.
Inventory drifting between channels Oversells on the marketplace, phantom stock on the store, and no single number either team trusts.
A checkout you can't change The step that decides your revenue is the one you were told is untouchable. On Plus, it isn't.
A theme that fights the brand A premium product inside a template that flattens it, and a PDP nobody can restructure.
Nobody owns it after launch The build team left, the store kept trading, and the next change is quoted as a rebuild.
§ 03

What we build on Shopify

Shopify Plus Custom storefronts and themes on Plus, the curated app stack around them, and the private apps that make the admin fit the business.
Custom themes & storefronts Liquid, TypeScript and CSS. Product pages, collections and checkout-related flows built for conversion, on desktop and mobile.
Private & public apps Apps in your admin for subscriptions, upsell and cross-sell, SEO tooling, sales attribution and merchant workflows. Two of ours are published in the Shopify App Store.
Checkout, subscriptions & upsell Checkout extensibility, subscription and upsell flows built as apps rather than bolted onto the storefront.
Integrations ERP and order management (Xentral, Akeno, custom connectors), marketplaces (Allegro), delivery and fulfilment (BaseLinker, InPost), marketing (Klaviyo, HubSpot) and headless CMS content.
Performance, SEO & analytics Where the seconds go — theme weight, app load, render path — plus SEO tooling, analytics and order automation that keep working after launch.
Headless & multi-store estates Headless where it earns its keep. One component library across 50+ multilingual sites, with store catalogues synchronised to Shopify Plus by a purpose-built plugin.
§ 04

Stores and apps we've built

Shopify Plus cores, marketplace-connected stores, ERP-wired portfolios, and apps in the App Store.

Shopify development, answered

Yes. Plus is where most of our current commerce work sits — custom storefronts and themes, private apps, checkout-related flows, subscriptions, and the ERP, order-management and marketing integrations behind them. We run the Shopify Plus core of a retail group with 50+ sites.

Commerce and Shopify engagements run $10K–$60K, with 6–10 weeks from kickoff to launch for a build. Fixed-fee when the scope is clear, which it usually is once the technical review is done.

Yes, and the free technical review is the cheapest way to start. We come back with three real issues found in your store — not a generic checklist — and what we would fix first. You can hand that to anyone, including your current team.

Yes — private apps for a single merchant and public ones for the App Store. We have shipped both: KWRDS (regional SEO rank tracking) and X-Sell (native up- and cross-sell rules) are published Shopify apps, and the private apps we build cover subscriptions, attribution and merchant-side workflows.

That is most of the work. We've wired Shopify to Xentral and Akeno, to ERP and order-management systems, to the Allegro marketplace, and to InPost fulfilment via BaseLinker — so inventory, orders and shipping stay in step instead of being reconciled by hand.

On Shopify Plus, yes — checkout extensibility plus subscription, upsell and cross-sell flows built as apps. On standard Shopify the checkout itself is fixed, so the work moves to cart, product pages and post-purchase, and we'll tell you which one you're actually on.

No. Setting up a store is the cheap part and plenty of people do it well. We're worth hiring when the storefront has to talk to an ERP, sell through marketplaces, run subscriptions, or carry a custom app — the plumbing, not the palette.

Liquid unless there's a reason. Headless earns its keep when content and commerce come from different systems or one component library has to serve an estate of sites — which is exactly what we run for the retail group in our portfolio. For a single brand store it usually just adds a build step.
